When man finally conquered the moon in July 1969, there was a lot of breakthrough in science. The landing of man on the moon was the fulfillment of President John f. Kennedy’s wish of sending men to the moon. Sample rocks were taken by the astronauts that can studied back on earth. Pictures were taken and these images were disseminated to the whole world. When they returned to the earth, they were welcomed by the whole world for a successful mission. The astronauts shared their fears, hopes and wishes before, during and after the mission. Finally, they gave a tremendous contribution to the world. As Astronaut Neil Armstrong said, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” The mission paved the way for other experiments and possible mission in the future. The image of the earth which the astronauts photographed showed the beauty of the earth. It’s like a full moon when you’re on the moon. The lighting of the earth showed its beauty and the wonder of God’s creation. Inside Apollo 11, it was not easy to move around. Some of the lights are like some of the bathroom lighting today. They are bright in colors. After doing all the possible experiments, they blasted off the moon and headed back to earth. It was another concern for the astronauts. They had to return safely to earth. Upon their safe return to earth, they were warmly welcomed by the world. Their voyage led to a new beginning for science. The mission lighted the world with all the knowledge that they could possibly learn.
